As seen on the cover of UK Handmade Summer Showcase

RedApple is the home of the original Crescent and Orrery collections - galaxies inspired by Glasgow's very own Orrery on display in Kelvingrove Museum, hand built by John Fulton. The Milky Way is by far our best galaxy!
Our founder is a Glasgow girl and as such is influenced too by its architecture - strong clean lined geometrics with a romantic edge. Steering clear of the mass produced, each RedApple piece is a one of a kind - handmade in our Glasgow studio.
In addition to our eco resin, sustainable materials and recycled pigments (which are diverted from land and ocean disposal) we specialise in products for sensitive ears. Oh and yes- our pressed flowers are real - hand picked too! 🍎

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

Every effort is made to list and represent each item accurately. Measurements and shipping terms are available in each listing.
We hope you don't ever want or have to return anything- but if this arises - please message beforehand*.

Pierced earrings are non returnable for hygiene reasons- this does not affect your statutory rights.

Exchanges are not accepted
Custom orders are non returnable
Sale items are non returnable

Items are handmade so variation is inevitable and our eco resin never reacts the same way twice - especially with the introduction of natural pigments/flowers.

*Returns made without prior notification may not be processed. Product(s) must be returned UNWORN and in the same condition/packaging as it was received. Return shipping charges are payable by buyer and are non-refundable. In the case of refund - this will be issued when returned items are received. We are not liable for the loss/damage or delay of returned items - for this reason it is advisable to return using a signed, tracked and insured service (valid for the initial cost of the ordered item). Please note - returns are not accepted for reasons relating to late delivery/customs fees or other exceptions as listed.

In case of receiving damaged* item - please contact us directly, though Etsy messaging with photographs. You may return the item (you will be compensated* for shipping costs but only with a valid receipt/tracking) and we will either replace or issue a refund - buyers choice. Return postage reimbursement not to exceed £7.

*variations due to nature (i.e. flowers) or handmade variations are not included in 'damage'.

Unless Royal Mail Express is selected and paid for in your basket, your order will be posted free via standard (not tracked) Royal Mail 2nd Class for orders under £29. Orders £30+ will require a signature on delivery.

Orders will be sent in their entirety to 1 delivery address (address entered at checkout) - if you require different pieces sent to separate addresses please purchase them individually.

**Please note processing times on each listing (this is the time it takes to make your order before posting) - these may vary depending on time of year/pieces available. Whilst every endeavour is made to complete your order in a timely manner- comments made in special instructions at the time of payment may not be fulfilled. If you have a specific request please contact us before placing our order to see if it is possible **

2nd class - Royal Mail T&Cs state 2nd class mail can take up to 15 business days to deliver- regardless of location - particularly at busy periods (COVID-19/public holidays/Christmas/New Year/Easter etc). Counted business days do not include processing times, weekends or public holidays. If your item is for a specific date, again, regardless of UK location - please upgrade to express. RedApple is not responsible for any delays. Recorded and Express methods require a signature.

There will be no receipt included in the package. You will receive a message letting you know your order is on its way.

**Please make sure you enter the correct and accurate DELIVERY name and address as postage labels are printed according to your information entry. We realise mistakes can be made but we may ask you to repurchase with the correct name and address on checkout. No alterations can be made after an item is posted. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address/addressee unknown you will need to pay for shipping for the second attempt. If the parcel is refused we reserve the right not to refund until the item is back with us. We are not responsible for uninsured/untracked returns**

We only use Royal Mail Tracked and Signed.

Delivery times are approximate and will vary according to your location/customs and time of year. Could be more, could be less but each parcel is trackable* at almost every stage of it's journey.

Europe: 1-2 business weeks
North America: 2-3 business weeks
Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 4-7 business weeks

Business days don't include processing times, weekends/holidays. RedApple is not responsible for postal delays/customs delays or any customs charges or taxes.

Additional policies and FAQs
Care Instructions -
Please handle with care. As with pearls - jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you remove. Jewellery should be stored in a clean, dry place and removed when showering or swimming. Please keep your lovely lotions and potions away. The use of chemical cleaners and wipes are not advisable as this may damage the surface of the eco resin and any delicately hand applied rainbow patinas (where applicable). Most metals tarnish- this is a natural occurrence and varies in depth and speed from person to person. To prolong oxidisation, store in a cool, dry place or in an airtight bag.
