Hi, I'm mazz, I use they/them*, and I make yarn art sculptures. I'm also a professional Dungeon Master, and am the first openly nonbinary identifying individual to be a DM on the Wizards of the Coast Dungeons and Dragons Twitch channel. I often cross the streams and make yarn art sculptures of D&D creatures and have worked on projects with the WotC team.

*please pronoun correctly in my reviews, it means a lot!

I don't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
    Returns and exchange details
As your item is a commission and made to order, I will require a deposit before starting work. This deposit is non-refundable and will be retained in event of cancellation of your order.

I also do not refund the additional shipping and handling that you paid on the original order unless the item is deemed to be faulty. All shipping charges will be waived/refunded on faulty items.

As my items are handmade art pieces, they can be fragile and must be treated as such. Breakage from incorrect usage does not mean the item is faulty. Additionally, I use wire armatures in some pieces (which will withstand some posing, but not repeated deformity), as well as plastic parts that may be sharp (claws, teeth). These items are art, not toys, and you handle them at your own risk.
    Payment
If you wish to make a custom order I will require a deposit before beginning any work. This deposit will be for the half of the agreed estimated cost. This is not refundable in the event the order is cancelled. Upon completion of the item, I will let you know that it is ready, and make a listing (less deposit cost) at a mutually convenient time for you to complete the transaction.

No orders will be shipped until paid in full.
    Delivery
When placing your order, I will provide you with both an estimated cost based on time needed to create the work, as well as an estimated date for completion. These will differ because I cannot work continuously on certain pieces or I will injure my hands, so I must take breaks. Sometimes I can only work on specific pieces for a total maximum of an hour a day, if it requires detailed work and fine tools.

Naturally, I will do my best to keep you up to date on your order during this time, and also inform you if I expect that it will take any longer. Often I overestimate the amount of time required, and your order may be completed sooner, but this cannot be guaranteed.

International buyers please note that you accept responsibility for all related duties, taxes, and customs costs associated with importing goods from me. If you are not familiar with the import fees in your country, please contact your local customs office.
    Additional policies and FAQs
Please feel free to contact me for custom orders! However, before you do, please answer these questions:

Is the item you want to commission an original character of yours or a public domain idea? I do not take commissions which may infringe on other people's IP - certain monsters, video game or TV show characters, registered logos - things such as this are not open for discussion. I am very sorry if I cannot take on your project because of this, but as an artist, I respect work in the way I would want to be respected.

How large and how detailed do you want your figure? The cost depends on these factors. I charge by the hour, and obviously larger or more detailed pieces would cost more. A *very* simple figure can take around 5-6 hours, my more detailed larger pieces can take 20 hours or more.

Do you have reference images or a clear description of what you want made? Otherwise I will have to constantly come back to you asking questions, which will delay your order.

How quickly would you like it made? Time is certainly a factor, and rush orders will incur extra costs, if I am able to fit them into my schedule.
