    Bespoke Wreaths for All Occasions! 💖

    I do believe I missed my calling! I should've been a florist!

    My story begins following a Floral Workshop that I attended at Plumpton College which is an Agricultural College nestled beneath the amazing South Downs in East Sussex , closely followed by a Beginners Course in Floristry at the same venue. I loved every minute of the course and knew that I had to do something with the tuition and instruction I'd received.

    The course finished just before Christmas 2017 - the last piece we created was a Christmas Wreath! We used real Pine branches along with Pine Cones, Limes, Orange segments finishing it all off with a pretty bow - I was very proud of my wreath! Unfortunately however, it didn't adorn my front door that Christmas, my friend took a liking to it and that's where it ended up!

    I'd been working in the NHS for some 20 years and knew that it was time to do something different. I'd never been particularly 'crafty' but had so enjoyed my Floristry course especially the Wreath making but realising it would take me a number of years to become a fully qualified Florist, I started to look into how I could make a wreath using artificial materials with the possibility of setting up my own little craft business.

    I eventually found the answer on YouTube in the shape of 'Hardworking Mom' - Lori Jacobs - in the States. She makes some amazing wreaths using a material called 'Decomesh' - so I set to and made an Easter Wreath. I popped it on my front door - it was BIG, a number of people made the comment 'It's not Christmas' but others were quizzical! Once again I'd so loved the making process that this prompted me to take the leap and leave my job in order to set up my little business.
