I'd never done an art course before ....

I'd always loved art and creating, but had never done an art course before. I didn't even sit an art GCSE, but after I was made redundant I decided to go and do something that I loved. I enrolled on an applied arts degree course (talk about dumping myself in the deep end) and found a love of working metal.

My natural style is to work small and delicate. I often have grand plans to make something, big and sculptural, but slowly through the design and making process if ends up being small, delicate and wearable. I know now that this is where my instincts lie so try to curb any grand designs.

When I finished my course I had choices! I could choose to stop doing what I loved and go back to working in an office or I could set my own business, which gave the flexibility to carry creating my own designs. Selling was the next logical step ... so here I am!

Hello and Welcome to my store!

I am based in North Wales. I rely on the stunning views and natural scenes that are around me to inspire my work. I am also influenced by vintage style and fashion.

I create bespoke, contemporary jewellery. In my collections I have explored many different techniques and used various materials to be able to execute my designs fully. The materials are treated equally, with care and attention. Whether it is sterling silver, brass, resin or enamels.

Although I mainly use traditional metal-smithing practices to create my jewellery I customize my own tools and regularly experiment with traditional techniques to gain individual style and effect.

Copper Jewellery items

Although all items are finished to a high standard and coated in a wax that protects the surface of the metal from the skin, this will over time wear away. To prolong the surface finish it is recommended that you do not immerse the piece in water or leave the piece in prolonged contact with water. It is recommended that you remove the piece before bathing or performing household tasks.
