Sophy Draws While Claude Snores

Hello there!

I'm Sophy, I am an illustrator, pet portraitist & art tutor who lives and works in Durham City, U.K. with my Boston Terrier, Claude. He inspires me everyday with his infectious enthusiasm for life. I began keeping a visual diary of our life together, which you can find on my Instagram page: @sophynixon

I am completely obsessed with dogs! I love pets, wildlife & nature which inspires my illustrated gifts which I sell in my Etsy shop.

As well as drawing Claude, I also love drawing other people's pets, especially awesome badgers! Check out my sketch-a-pet to order your very own custom drawing of your fur baby! I also draw birds and reptiles too... and other hairless creatures, basically anything except eight legged dudies!

When we do eventually leave our studio, Claude and I love exploring, we especially like long woodland walks and trips to the seaside, where we can enjoy wildlife and the fresh air! We also enjoy snuggling together on a chair and reading our favourite graphic novels & comic books.

Do you draw anything for the Sketch-a-Pet?

Yes, most pet related beasties, except tarantulas and other related spider creepies. Can't deal, sorry! Well, not sorry but no offence intended to any tarantula/spider fanciers. If you're still unsure convo me!

Why are original artworks sent via tracked and signed shipping?

Custom items made specially for you and I think we would both be upset if your beautiful artwork went missing in the post. However, if you wish to have standard shipping, you do so at your own risk, please convo me prior to placing an order.

Can I have my original artwork sent via standard delivery?

I strongly recommend you don't do this, however, you may but the buyer assumes full responsibility should it go missing. Please convo me if you wish to do so before purchase.

Do you draw pets in outfits for sketch-a-pet?

Most definitely and I thoroughly encourage that you send photos immediately!

Who is Krampus?

He's a creepy dude that roams around with Saint Nicholas around Christmastime, mainly in Europe.

International Shipping

Most items are shipped via International Standard Royal Mail delivery to international customers. This can take from 2-3 weeks to arrive once shipped from the UK. Please take this into consideration when ordering gifts for particular dates. If you would prefer International Tracked & Signed, please convo me prior to ordering.
