5 out of 5 starsSuch amazing and beautiful items. The seller was kind enough to make a custom order for me when the item sold out as I wanted a larger set after receiving my first order. She made these incredibly quickly and posted them very nicely packaged. Thrilled with these, and would absolutely recommend and buy again from this seller!

About stoppedclockglass

-
The studio was built in 2018, nestled beneath the trees at the bottom of my garden, and is where I hold my workshops.
-
This is me in my studio surrounded by all of the different forms of glass I incorporate into my work.
-
Everything in my shop is made by hand from scratch.
-
The mechanical grinder is great for shaping the glass prior to polishing.
-
It all gets a bit fiddly at times and I ensure all of the metal findings I use are lead and nickel free.

I love to play with light and colour through my work with glass. The excitement of opening the kiln to reveal the results of new experiments is timeless. I also enjoy biking through the woods, playing board games, and drinking too much tea.

Frequently asked questions
Gift wrapping and packaging
Gift wrapping is available on all purchases for a small additional fee, please select this option at checkout. I only use 100% recycled paper featuring beautiful designs by UK artists. Between October and December I will use a festive pattern unless requested otherwise by the buyer. Gifts can be sent directly to the recipient with a handwritten message from the buyer, great for those last minute presents!
Custom and personalised orders
I am open to commission requests. Everything is made by hand entirely from scratch, so I can be fairly flexible with what I create. If you see something you like but would prefer it in a different colour, size, or style, please feel free to message me so that we can discuss your requirements. If an item you desire is sold out, it is likely I can recreate this or something similar, again just message me your requests and I'll see what I can do.
Sizing details
All rings are adjustable in size for a flexible fit and all bracelets and necklaces come complete with 2" extender chains. Bracelets and necklaces can easily be shortened on the buyer's request, just leave instructions in the "notes to seller" box at checkout. If you require a longer chain please message me prior to purchase to check stock availibility, and depending on how much extra length is required, a slight upcharge may apply.
Is your jewellery lead and nickel free?
Yes, I make sure all of my metal findings are free from lead and nickel. I have previously suffered from allergic reactions to these chemicals myself, so I am very conscious about avoiding exposure to them in my work and you can feel assured my jewellery is safe.
Do you make the glass components yourself?
Yes, I am a fused glass artist who studied the craft at Lincoln University. All individual glass components are designed and created by myself in my purpose-built studio with the help of my glass kiln. Processes are detailed on individual listings, but if you would like to learn more then please feel free to message me, or even book on to one of my fused glass workshops!
Wholesale availability
I do offer wholesale prices to traders with a minimum order amount. Please feel free to email me at emma@stoppedclockglass.com to request the current wholesale price list.
Do you deliver worldwide? And are breakages in transit covered?
Yes I do. I want my creations to be enjoyed across the globe. Although glass can be a fragile material, great care is taken to package the items well, and so far I have never had an item break in transit. Postal services do not offer insurance on glass items, however I personally offer this to my customers. If your purchase is broken in transit a replacement item will be sent where possible. Where a replacement item is unavailable, a full refund will be given. I offer these assurances as I wish for my customers to have a care-free shopping experience with me.
