The Simple Life
Welcome to Scarecrow Farm in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.... land belonging to my husband's family for over a century! My daughter sleeps in the same room her great grandparents shared, and the outhouse is still out back, but we've graduated to indoor plumbing! Here the North Carolina mountain country is rich in history and vintage treasures.
Finding treasures is what I do for fun. I love the hunt for that quirky item or something someone overlooked and is long forgotten -- old tools and bottles, unearthed, or in an old trash pile hidden from sight.
The importance of respecting the land and heritage of those who came before us is monumental. So is acknowledging the fact that everything has a purpose. Just because something is old and worn, it is not past the point of being loved once again. It is in this spirit that I created a shop to pass along this mantra. Each treasure is hand-picked with you in mind!
I find beauty in the patina of an old rusty bucket, chipped paint of an old stool … items that tell a story … that speak of days when you didn't throw things out because they weren't perfect anymore. I think we should do the same.

I am currently only shipping within the United States but if you so desire an item, I will check the postage. I can only ship items weighing less than 4 pounds internationally. These will be sent priority mail.
