Shelle is a London based embroidery and textile artist. After completeing a Diploma of Technical Hand Embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework, Shelle is currently a student at the London College of Fashion studying Fashion Textiles: Embroidery.

She loves the challenge of finding uique materials and transforming them into something treasured. The scarcity and rarity of some of the materials used means each piece is one of a kind.

Shelle sources materials from all over the UK and a variety of places, including markets, vintage and independent shops, then explores their creative potential, and turns them into beautiful one of a kind embroidery pieces and adornments.

Shelle is passionate about the environment and her work reflects this. Her pieces are made including materials of high quality that are discarded by others. Upcycled, recycled reclaimed, found and vintage materials feature in all Shelle’s work. These preloved materials are incorporated into her work, to become treasures once more.
