Ooooh my..... this necklace is soooo beautiful!! I have been in love with this necklace for quite some time & had it saved in my fave's for ages, then my precious husband decided to finally seal the deal & get it for me for Valentine's Day, bless his heart!! I have lovingly worn it nearly every day since then. It is so very lovely, and I've received numerous compliments on it, I just love it! Thank you for your beautiful craftsmanship & talent, you rock!!

About

my life long love affair with creating

I have been creating jewelry for about as long as I can remember. Started out with long loopy origami necklaces made from gum wrappers, then little rings made from lead solder created in the back of my dads t.v. repair shop (I probably had a good case of lead poisoning from those) then beading, then silversmithing.
My current fascination has been with resin, I am enamored with it's ability to create depth and magnify colors in any thing I put it on (and trust me I have put it on everything, lol).
Don't get me wrong, resin can be a cruel mistress until you really get to know her quirks, but then, it's so much fun. I work with resin mostly, with some metal work and upcycled items thrown in here and there. My training is in classic silversmithing but this day in age you just about have to mortgage your house in order to buy a quality sheet of silver, resin on the other hand is greatly affordable and I can make pieces that you won't have to sell your first born child to own.
I started my etsy shop in 2008 making beaded items but quickly moved on to resin, I found resin work to be incredibly fun and incredibly frustrating all at the same time. I was totally addicted from the git go. Eight years later and I am still enjoying every minute I spend creating fun, colorful and affordable resin pieces.
Hope you enjoy perusing my creations, you will find a lot of butterflies, trees , and book related themes because those are the things that I like most.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

Custom orders are welcomed, any time with the notable exception of November and December.
Custom pieces require a 50% deposit due once the details have been ironed out and before the work begins on the order.

Care instructions

A leaflet on resin jewelry care instructions will be included with every order.

In general resin should be stored away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight. Excess heat can cause the resin to take on a yellow cast.

Resin jewelry can be washed with a mild soap and water and buffed dry. Plated findings can be lightly polished with a polishing cloth, do not rub too hard as the plating could wear through .

Apply hairspray and perfume ( and any other alcohol based products) prior to putting on your resin jewelry as the alcohol can mar the resins glossy finish.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Your item will arrive in an adorned pillow box.
I have recently opted to remove my logo from the pillow boxes so that you may reuse them for another occasion, thus helping me and my business stay a little bit greener.

Gift packaging is available , free of charge.
I will happily include a note to the recipient with your gift order , just add your note in the "message to buyer" box during checkout and I will take care of the rest.
