Additional policies and FAQs
Silver pieces are crafted from silver PMC, which can be shaped like clay. During firing in a kiln, the clay burns away, leaving fine silver (99.9% pure). Because fine silver is softer than sterling, I use sterling findings.
Bronze jewelry and components are made from BronzClay, which is worked like clay and then kiln-fired to burn everything out except a bronze composite of 89% copper, 11% tin.
Glass components are made through multiple kiln firings and are properly annealed for durability.
Ceramic components are made from low-fire clay that I shape and paint with glazes that are permanently fired on. It's OK to get them wet in the shower or ocean or wet T-shirt contest.
Care and Feeding... Every now and then a wipe with a jeweler's rouge cloth will remove any tarnish. Be careful with liquid silver cleaners, as they may remove any intentional oxidation.
Wholesale inquiries are welcome. Minimum first order $500.
