5 out of 5 starsThe ring is a real piece of art. Victoria was a pleasure to work with. She was thoughtful, professional, and reliable, and was fun to work with through the customization process.

5 out of 5 starsI love my book and book work pendant. It is very well made and nicely packaged. It was shipped quickly but it the post took longer than usual to get to me, covid19 is what held it up. I will be back to this shop often. 👍💓🤗

I particularly love this fluorescent green and blue cold enamel. So fresh and bright.

Sterling silver ring stuffed with viridian cold enamel. The paler colour I mixed up with a dash of white.

Tonbridge castle being formed.

The castles in order of supremacy. The first one has two tiers, turrets, a gold ball and dragon, round table & candle.
A labour of silver love!
I don’t have a very linear approach to discovery so I find it rather difficult to describe what many artists refer to as a process. I just have a bunch of ideas and act on them.
I have always loved drawing and making stuff. Anything crafty. I do a lot of pen & ink illustrative drawing and printmaking. I teach art classes at Kent Adult Education. Like may artists I love to potter about different media and one day I just thought that I might really enjoy being a silversmith.
Actually, I think it was partly to do with my decision to get a ring designed for my mother for her 60th and realising that I just had so many ideas. Rather unglamorously many of my ideas are whilst driving along the motorway or just having my dinner.
I like the shape of things. I have made a number of rather pretty pendants and rings with silver balls, silver and gold. And bubbles, inspiring me to cut up lots of silver tubing. My preoccupation with my dinner has led to all sorts of food related rings and pendants. And my inability to fully embrace reality has led to a variety of small castles.
All my pieces are hallmarked unless they are under the required weight and this is indicated under the product. You can find out more about Hallmarking here.

I want you to be happy with your product so do let me know if you have any problems, too big, too small and we can sort it out together! X

I make everything in Kent with Sterling silver and cold enamel which I buy from Cooksons. Everything over the required weight is then hallmarked at the London Assay Office. I love making stuff and am always having new ideas.
