What a unique way to use an old piggy bank! He is super cute and was packaged very carefully. Many compliments already. Very happy with my new little flying piggy!

This flying pig is SO adorable! He was packaged VERY carefully and received quickly in the mail. His wings are just the neatest thing, and are ready to go flying!

When Pigs Fly!
I love making something out of nothing, and I love getting more bang for my buck. Up cycling is the perfect way to do both! I also love vintage things. The wonderment of its travels, and whom may have loved it as well. I try to find vintage piggy banks to up cycle into my flying pigs. They have so much personality compared to the cookie cutter piggy banks you find today. Some of my finds go back to the depression era and before. You know they are old when they have no way to get your coins out. Such banks were called "smash and grab". I am always so happy to see that one has survived such a tragedy.
You may find where the glaze on the older pieces show crazing. Crazing is just on the surface of a piece, it does not effect the sturdiness of the piece. Just think of it as old age wrinkles! You can zoom in on pieces to get a better look for any crazing. I try to mention if there is any crazing or other marks in each listing. If you have a piggy bank that you would like me to turn into a flying pig, just contact we and we can talk about it!

Things were hard to come by growing up in our blended family. In our naivety we voiced our wishes loudly. My mom would smile and say, "when pigs fly!" Moms gone on to heaven now, but when I look at my finished pieces, I can almost hear her voice...

If the pig was not quite what you were expecting, you may return it. It must be shipped back the same priority rate as it was shipped to you. Once I receive it back intact, and unchanged, you would be given a refund or exchange. You would be responsible for shipping charges.
Payment
If payment is not made in three business days the order will be cancelled. Michigan taxes will apply if you order from Michigan.
Shipping
I use new #200 crush proof boxes for my precious babies. I will even double box for some orders. I use packing peanuts and bubble wrap. I will switch out the packing peanuts to air popped popcorn for the more conservative minded.
But I will still use bubble wrap. Just send me a note to let me know your preference.
During the Christmas season please realize that even 2 day priority rate shipping can take longer. Plan accordingly. I gift wrap for free and can ship direct.
For international shipping the buyer is responsible for all taxes, tariffs, VAT or custom fees of any kind. Please also realize that in some instances tracking and insurance may not be available. I would not be responsible for loss or damage in such cases.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you would like a wind chime flying pig turned into a non wind chime, I could do so, but the price would remain at the wind chimes original price.
