Really wonderful friendly seller who kindly reserved this for me while I was out of town. It's the perfect whimsical vintage gift for the Amy in my life and I am so excited to give it to her! Thank you for a great experience! I will be back, not least because this shop is an absolute wonderland of treasures!

Just as described: a beautiful pair of cufflinks. I have never seen another pair like them, and they're sure to catch the eye. Packaged with care, two-day shipping, and even a personal 'Thank You' from Janelyn. Thank You!

About

Zestful Vintage - unique and classic antique and vintage jewelry and accessories

My shop, Zestful Vintage, arose from exactly that, my husband's and my zest for all things antique and vintage with a history and beauty that we could connect with. Over 25 years ago we started our search for special antique and period pieces from furniture to decorative items to jewelry, which our home in Pennsylvania reflects. We eventually filled our home, but it seemed there was always room for another special piece of jewelry in the ever expanding jewelry box. At some point we realized just how much we enjoyed seeking out beautiful jewelry pieces and researching their history and significance. With our children recently having left the nest, we are now able to devote the time and energy to finding those special pieces for other people.

My shop is a means to provide treasures that I discover for those of like mind or style. It is difficult to be a perfectionist in this business with items 25 to 150 years old, but that is always my objective in terms of quality of the piece, both in condition and original creation, as well as clarity of presentation, both preparation and declaration, to the quality of packaging (my husband has made a career in the packaging industry). My goal is to create an experience of discovery, with integrity in transaction and exceeding expectation when receiving your purchase. I continue to upgrade my sourcing expertise, testing equipment and education.

I want you to discover a treasure and confidently enjoy its value, whether it is a Victorian necklace, Art Nouveau locket, Art Deco cufflinks, or Edwardian ring. My goal is to be your source for that unique and special piece with a history and beauty that you can connect with!

We're so glad you stopped by Zestful Vintage where we have always had an affinity for antique and vintage jewelry, accessories, and fine collectibles that are older than us! We absolutely want you to be happy with your purchase and we work hard to ensure that is the case. We welcome your questions about an item and are happy to take any additional photographs you might request.

Payment
LAYAWAY POLICY
We are happy to work with you to arrange a layaway or payment plan. An initial non-refundable deposit of 10% will reserve an item with the balance due within 3-6 months. We can schedule either bi-monthly or monthly payments. Shipping charges will be added to the final payment and once the final payment has cleared, the item will be shipped.

Payment not completed within 48 hours of the arranged date will negate the sale unless prior arrangements have been made. Layaway payments are non-refundable and layaway items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Shipping
Your order will ship within 2 business days from the date of confirmed payment, with items typically shipping within 24 hours. We ship all items with tracking and insurance. Items under $100 are shipped via USPS First Class Mail, items over $100 are shipped USPS Priority Mail. All orders above $250 in value are sent with signature confirmation for security reasons, and must be signed for upon delivery. If there are any delays we will let you know and explain, but this would be an exception.

We ship all items packaged in a gift box and gift wrapped. Please just let us know if you would like special occasion wrapping or a gift card included.

Please be certain to enter the shipping information accurately and completely; additional postal charges for re-shipment due to incorrect address input are the purchaser's responsibility.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
We welcome international customers and have included shipping charge options to several countries on the item listings. If you are interested in purchasing with shipment to a country not listed, please contact us prior to purchasing for shipping charges. We ship internationally via USPS First Class International for purchases up to and including $100, and Priority Mail International, (a shipping upgrade from First Class International), for purchases over $100. If we have overestimated the actual shipping charges, we will refund any overage to your method of payment - we don't like to pay any more for shipping than is necessary either! Customers outside the United States will be responsible for any customs fees, duties or taxes charged by their government on the full declared value when their package is delivered. We insure and declare all items at their full value.

Items refused at delivery or returned due to non-payment of duties or customs fees will be issued store credit only, minus the original shipping costs plus any associated duties or fees incurred by us, once the item has been returned.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchase and offer a three day examination period and money back guarantee. If you are interested in returning a purchase, please email our store within three days of receiving your item for authorization to return. After three days all items will be considered final sales. Items that have been sized or altered in any way are not returnable. Layaways are also considered final sales and cannot be returned for refund. Returns sent without notification cannot be accepted or refunded. All returns must be postmarked within five days of receipt of items.

PLEASE NOTE: We use the USPS site shipment tracking information, (either "Notice Left" or "Delivered"), to determine the item's date of receipt. There is a link to the item's tracking and delivery information on the receipt that the buyer receives from Etsy. It is incumbent on the buyer to ensure that they get their item from USPS on the date marked by USPS as it having been delivered or a notice left. We have found the best practice for purposes of setting the dates for returns to be relying on this information, as it succinctly and equitably resolves the timeline. There will be no exceptions unless prior communication and arrangements have occurred and been made.

Please return the item in the gift box sent. Returns should be shipped with tracking - please provide the tracking information following shipment. We highly recommend the purchase of insurance as buyers are responsible for the risk of loss or damage.

Upon receipt of the item in its original and unaltered condition, the purchase price will be refunded to the method of payment utilized, minus the original shipping charges.
Additional policies and FAQs
RING SIZING
We do not provide ring sizing services. There are many variables such as design of the gemstone(s) mounting and the thickness of a band which make each ring's fit individual to the wearer. We believe that the most accurate fit can be obtained by having a customer's reputable local jeweler size their ring after receiving their purchase.

GEMSTONE SIZE AND WEIGHT
The gemstones and diamonds in all of our pieces are already set as they are antiques or vintage. Many of the stones are european or mine cut with different measurement parameters than contemporary standards. Without removing the stones from their settings, we are only able to estimate their sizes and weights. We provide the measurements that we are able to take providing you with as much information as possible to envision the proportions and design of the stones and the piece.

STANDARDS
All of our antique and vintage items are previously owned and have been used and worn. We lightly polish silver jewelry, inspect it with a jeweler's loupe, and test it for accuracy of marks or stamps. We use electronic as well as acid testing for gold and metals, and we test diamonds and gemstones for authenticity. We work with a professional jeweler who consults for Antiques Roadshow. We utilize all resources available in the research and identification of a piece, and we only sell pieces that have been determined to be wearable and in serviceable condition. We provide the most accurate description possible and list any issues that we are aware of with a piece.
