Cuando era un niño pequeño no teníamos mucho dinero. Tenía este pequeño ratón de peluche al que llamé Suzie. Como no teníamos una máquina de coser ni un hilo y una aguja, tomaba una caja de pañuelos desechables y un paquete de alfileres de palo y creaba nuevos diseños para la señorita Suzie a diario. Ese pobre ratón fue pinchado con tantos alfileres un día que todo el aserrín se le cayó. Pero gracias a ella ahí empezó todo. ¡Se lo debo a suzie Mouse por el comienzo de mi carrera como diseñadora!
Siento la necesidad de ser creativa a diario, así que lo encuentro a través del diseño de patrones, la costura, la pintura, la música y la cocina. Soy un verdadero amante de la comida, es una excelente manera de viajar por el mundo y lo hago cocinando para mis seres queridos. Comencé a escribir un libro de cocina con mis propias recetas, ¡pero pasará un tiempo antes de que esté listo! Quiero agregarlo a mi colección de más de 500 libros de cocina. Sí, un poco acaparador soy. Je je, je.
Mi esposo Jeff también es artista. Yo diría que ambos somos niños de corazón ♥

When I was a young child we didn't have a lot of money. I had this little stuffed mouse who I named Suzie. Since we didn't have a sewing machine nor a thread and needle I would take a box of tissues and a package of stick pins and create new designs for Miss Suzie daily. That poor mouse was poked with so many pins one day all the sawdust fell out of her. But thanks to her that's where it all started..I owe it to miss Suzie Mouse for the beginning of my designing career!
I feel the need to be creative on a daily basis, so I find it through designing patterns, sewing, painting, music, and cooking. I'm a real foodie, it's a great way to travel the world and I do so by cooking for my loved ones! I started writing a cookbook with my own recipes, but it'll be awhile before it's done! I want to add it to my collection of over 500 cookbooks..yes a bit of a hoarder I am. Hee hee.
My husband Jeff is an artist too. He enjoys drawing, painting, cardboard art, and he's a very talented musician. He does a wicked Johnny Cash!. We have surrounded ourselves with many antiques and plenty of vintage toys! I'd say we're both kids at heart ♥
