Handwritten notes will never go out of style...
Our handwriting is intimate. It's personal. It identifies each one of us. And we all need pretty things to write on, whether it's a quick shopping list or a treasured recipe, so when I decided I needed something new to create, I turned to something that makes me feel like I have my life pulled together - paper.
I love the feel of a fresh new notebook, ready to be filled. A new set of thoughtful cards that can be used for any occasion when you've forgotten to go to the store but you're prepared so it's no big deal. A new notepad next to my laptop for all the things I need to get done that day.
As much as I love technology, I want my future grandchildren to rifle through my handwritten recipes that have bits of cookie batter and olive oil on them, not through my laptop. I want to leave notes in my son's lunchbox, the way my mom did, not through a text message. In my mind, and heart, taking the time to write something down means just a touch more and I want the paper on which I'm writing to show my style and be loved as much as the note written on it.
