Grandma's Kitchen Had Lots of Love and Pyrex
Some of my best memories are of my Grandmother's kitchen, when she was baking and cooking, oh the colors of the Pyrex Mixing Bowls, the smells coming from the oven, and finally the food. She used to let me sit and watch, and if I was good she would reward me with the beaters from the mixer, or a cookie, or a slice of fresh bread.
Life was a lot simpler but yet harder. No really good cake or brownies came from a box, everything was done with love and time and lots of work. My Grandmother's prized tools helped her create the wonderful meals we would all eat. Wether it was the Pyrex Casserole Dishes, or the left over's stored in the Pyrex Refrigerator Boxes, these all invoke great thoughts for me. My Grandmother was one of the most influential people in my life, and every time I see, touch, use, and now sell Pyrex I can't help but think back, too the good old days.
Please be aware, everything I sell is Vintage and pre owned, most has been used for upwards of 35 years some even more. I price on condition and the rarity of the piece or color, or pattern. None even the best piece is ever flawless, even coming from the factory these were mass produced and made in the USA to last, but I sincerely doubt anyone would ever have thought they would become collectible. They were made to endure as the values we excepted in products demanded it, but again mass produced. Please keep that in mind.
