Make to order, one-off pieces made by me in my Karlsruhe, Germany studio with only natural fiber such as Australian wool/ merino, mongolian cashmere, cotton and linen. I hand dye most of my yarns with plant dyes, non-toxic acid dyes in a homemade solar oven. For other projects I opt to use deadstock yarn from the most renowned luxury Maisons in Europe if possible. I also produce 3D printed knitting machine accessories with Eco-resins for Silver reed LK150 which make machine knitting much more fun and efficient.

My goal is to create unique, functional and sustainable objects.

Excellent quality! The machine is truly brand new, in perfect condition, and all parts were carefully packed in the original factory packaging. It works perfectly. Hand-made by me.

I'm Yi, a Chinese Australian living in Germany for the last decade. I'm a machine knitter, machine embroiderer and crocheter. I use Adobe Fresco, illustrator, Autodesk Fusion 360 and CLO 3d for my design, 3d modeling, sampling and production.

YWRpattern was founded during my maternity leave in 2021 with comfort, uniqueness and sustainability in mind. Most of my inspiration comes from our family vacations, mother nature and computer games.

I like to use natural fiber, textured knits and bold colour ways.
