First and foremost, I'm a proud father of 7. Welding and blacksmithing is what I do to put food on the table. I just happen to love what I do. Been at it for a couple decades now, and hope to have many more years of this!

Can I cancel my order?
Yes, if it's within 12 hours of purchase. If you request a cancellation after that grace period, we may not be able to cancel. If we do cancel, we reserve the right to charge a $5 restocking fee.
How do I care for my iron work?
Unless a particular finish or paint color is specified/requested, all items in my shop will have a natural linseed oil/wax finish. This protects the metal from the elements. We love the way this finish brings out the beauty in the wrought iron. If you ask, yes, this is what we recommend!

Do you have anything in stock?
Typically, no. We have a 3-4 week turnaround with made to order items. If we had more time, we could build up stock. We have one blacksmith fulfilling all of these orders plus local jobs (gates, railings, repairs, etc) simultaneously. Our goal is to one day have stock. :)

What are your shipping policies for larger items like firescreens, fire grates, pot racks, etc?
We ship via UPS with insurance, but we need you to do your part if something is wrong with the package. If you do find that there is ANY DAMAGE, it's very important that you photograph ALL SIDES of the box, including the LABEL, AND the packing material inside, WITH the screen inside the package, and then clearly photograph any DAMAGE TO THE product. Also keep all damaged material in it's current condition until UPS instructs us otherwise. Please call us if you have any questions or concerns. 540-333-6655. UPS VOIDS OUR INSURANCE CLAIMS IF WE CANNOT PRESENT ALL OF THE APPROPRIATE PHOTOS. We cannot refund you or replace any product if we do not have what UPS requires.
Can you send me photos before you ship?
It's difficult to do that. Here's how our schedule works: I print the orders for Danny a week (or a day sometimes) in advance, he forges Etsy orders on M, W, F and builds railings on T & TH. He brings orders in the house in the evenings (our shop is beside our home). Between fixing dinner, and getting all 7 of our kids in bed, I box orders up in the evenings or early in the AM before the mail carrier picks up our packages. So if you want me to send a picture before we ship, I can, but it will delay shipment another day or two. Let me know if that's a priority for you, or if you'd rather receive ASAP.
