During my first pregnancy, I became concerned with reusable and earth-friendly options for common household products, for thrifty and environmental reasons.
After my son was born in Februrary of 2013, I started looking into cloth diapers. We officially started when he was two months old, and (despite my fears and the initial terrible fit) I have never looked back. I've tried so many different brands and types of diapers, trying to decide what worked best for my chunky legged, super pooper who has morphed into a skinny heavy wetter.
Being crafty, I've tried many different patterns (self-drafted and purchased) and combinations of fibers, before settling on the Rocket Bottoms patterns (the most accommodating for different sizes and body types) and natural fibers such as cotton, bamboo and hemp (which all have their own advantages).
In my shop, you'll find diapers that I've made and use myself. Everything is made from high quality materials, conscientiously constructed, and crazy cute. I stand by my products and encourage any customers to bring up concerns with me, so that I can correct them. The diapers I made for my son at 6 months are still in rotation with his other diapers.
You will also find other items in my shop besides cloth diapers. There are (or will soon be) cloth diaper accessories, such as wet bags, microfiber diaper liners, hemp boosters, and pail freshener. I love making other baby items, such as minky blankets, quilts, clothing and hats. So, be on the look out for those!
Please contact me if you would like to know more about me, my shop, or items!
Again, the patterns that I use (or take inspiration from) are Rocket Bottoms patterns. Check them out at http://rocketbottoms.com/
