dogIDs was founded in 2005 by Clint and Lori Howitz, who saw a need for quality personalized products for their family dogs. The Howitz's have been engraving custom dog ID tags and personalized dog collars since 1999.

Based in Fargo, ND, dogIDs was founded with the explicit purpose of improving the lives of dogs. We do this by manufacturing and supplying the best products for dogs on the market. We are driven to do this because we are passionate about dogs and believe that they deserve nothing but the best. Our work is inspired by family dogs, like our spokesdog, River, and other dogs that have touched our lives.

Besides being a valuable family member, River is also a staple of the dogIDs office, who tries out many of our new products before we introduce them to the public.
