This beautiful painting was to be a very special gift for family who are moving away from Alameda. It’s beauty captures the tranquility of morning walks that loved ones have taken everyday. This was the perfect gift, and Mandar was wonderful in accommodating and understanding every hope that I had for the gift. With Covid restrictions regulating our abilities, Mandar worked with me through media to pick the perfect frame for the piece, then framed it making it ready to easily pick it up from his home. I was emotional when I saw the beauty of his Art, for I know how much it will mean to the recipients. When I took this work to the framer, (it went in an antique impressionist frame that was restored for it) the framer, the two assistants, and the customers who were there went totally bonkers over it! I felt so proud and lucky to own such a beautiful piece. It is truly exquisite! Mandar is extremely skilled. I love the way he captures light. It has become a recurring event in my home: a guest on their way to a different room becoming waylaid by the piece and standing in front of it mesmerized for several minutes! It is truly a magical piece, and I am so delighted I get to enjoy it daily.

Ordered this for my wife for Christmas and she loved it! Mandar hand delivered it to our home in Alameda and added a frame at no extra cost!

Painting is beautiful, and looks exactly like Alameda! Mandar also helped me with framing of the picture, so it looked absolutely stunning when I gave it away. Mandar was very accommodating with the delivery process and also very responsive in all communication. Not only is this beautiful pastel a true and accurate likeness of our lovely Mary Otieku but it was also hand delivered by this amazing artist Mandar in commemoration of her award as Teacher of the Year 2018 for AUSD Alameda Unified School District. She was very touched and surprised that her 4th and 5th grade class honored her with such a thoughtful gift. And her surprise and elation were amplified by being presented by the artist himself! The rendering on the Etsy page does not do it justice seeing the gorgeous vibrant colors in person. Thank you Mandar for this awesome piece which will be treasured for generations! Amazing work!
