An affordable, fun & cute mermaid party dress up idea - print as many as you need in 5 different colours. An un-coloured version is included if the children would like to colour in their own. All you need is a printer, heavyweight paper or cardstock, ribbon or string to tie it on with, a hole punch and a laminating machine. (You can make them without laminating however they may not be as sturdy - I would recommend putting some sticky tape in the corners before punching the holes to make the holes more sturdy if you are unable to laminate them.)

Decorate them with glitter, stick-on rhinestones, ribbons or leave them plain, the choice is up to you.

This purchase includes 6 printable mermaid tail designs:

This tail size suits children aged approximately 2-4. To check sizing before purchase simply use an A4 piece of paper, measure from the waist down. The paper should not be touching the ground, if it does the tail will be too long for the child and this will not be suitable.

Use a hole punch to punch two holes at the top of the tail (one in each corner). Tie the tails on around their waist using ribbon or string. They can either wear it at the front or at the back. Please ensure the tail isn't in the child's way when they are walking if they are very small.
