Announcement    GENUINE HAND CRAFTED ORIGINAL CERAMIC TEAPOT.
Genuine Art and Craft made in the traditional craft style, designed and produced locally by the artist craftsman. Made with local clay and own glazes, midfire pottery, electric kiln, approx. 1180ºC. The teapot is signed by the maker, Peter.
Each is a unique handmade product. The studio-workshop location is the Adelaide region, South Australia. This is the work of a hobbyist, and is not a business.

A sturdy, robust, handmade teapot to give a good brew and to keep the tea hot longer. The beauty of the handmade, handcrafted pottery is in the hand maker working sensitively and with integrity with the materials and the form.

Upon receipt of payment, a pot will be immediately sent to the address you give by ordinary post. It is assumed there will be normal delivery. No liability is accepted for unattended delivery, extra delivery charges, or missing packages.

I have done my best in the photos to correctly show the teapot glaze color and surface. But I have sometimes found the photos difficult to match the actual surface. It seems a glaze has various opacities, matt-ness and shine which can distort the photographic process. Also be aware when looking at a teapot, sometimes the color of the glaze varies with natural light or electric light.

The midfire pottery is suitable for use with food and drinks. It can be used in a microwave, but for handmade pottery possibly some changes to the glaze might develop in time, and a dishwasher is not recommended.

Product satisfaction guaranteed. In the event of replacement, a new pot will be dispatched to you. However I rarely have a duplicate teapot. For replacement you pay only postage, packaging, and handling charges. Please note, for a refund, it is the price paid, less the cost of the postage.
