Hi, I'm ekra, and I'm a craft supply addict.
I hear, *Hi ekra!*
I'm trying hard not to buy any more supplies until the farmer's market where I sell my stuff starts, but it is hard, you know, with the addiction and all.
Anyone else an addict? Anyone have an tips for curbing the desire for a supply 'fix?'

I hear you Ekra. I am powerless before craft supplies.

My wife, LittleLovables is a HUGE supply addict. She saves all of her craft reciepts and then reviews them every time she needs a reality check of how much she has spent. It works for her, sometimes...

Reviewing receipts, that seems like a good one, LucidReflections. Since I buy nearly all my supplies at thrift stores, it doesn't seem like that much money at each store, but with lots of visits, that adds up!

I am powerless before Beads4You's powerlessness before craft supplies. She's my supplier ;)

I have craft supplies for nearly every known craft on the face of the Earth.
Sometimes I'm poor and de-stash in my store.
Sometimes all it takes is a wayward loan from the library to make me do something like... buy a bunch of stryofoam balls for making Temari.
Hello - I'm never going to make Temari.

lol me too. My husband will divorce me if I learn one more craft. He is swimming in beads, metal, fabric, clay, paint, canvas as it is.

OMG -- my boyfriend is definitely the world's biggest supply addict! LOL!
I just started making earrings about a month ago and have only put a few up on the site since I'm having camera problems. But he sold some to friends and when he saw how crazy they were about them, he decided to help by buying supplies for me. Problem is, he goes NUTS in a craft store. I have so many beads, I hardly have room for them on my worktable! So now when we go to the store for earwires or something, I have to tell him, "We're only going for ONE thing. Just ONE. Do NOT buy anything else in the store!" :-)

Well, this is making me feel better. I know I'm not alone now. I just wish I knew how to be more organized about storing my stuff. I feel like if I put it away, I'll forget about it and not use it. I need a house with cubbies all over the walls so I can put stuff in them and still be able to see it all.
