If artists who depict nudes are adding to our workload censoring our images to protect the sensitive eyes of kiddies whose parents don't supervise their internet time, their parents should pay us for babysitting services.

Adult daycare is even more expensive than the kiddie kind.

Well, I'll trim the bushes before I post any censored images of them, and then they can pay me for both.

i'm not trying to sound disagreeable... but are they asking you to sensor all your pictures? or just the front picture? because as much as I dislike the idea of censorship I truly believe sometimes it is needed. I teach , and I have shown artwork to my students that may seem innocent enough to the artist may not go over well with their parents... I make a point of explaining the art to my students and not make a big deal out of it.. but not all children have people in their lives who have the ability to do so.

Kate, have you sent your thoughts to admin about this? You sure seem totally pissed about it (which is your right). I don't understand the need for more than one thread on this subject.

Hence this post. I'm an artist, not a babysitter. If I'm expected to babysit, then pay me for babysitting.

My nanny friends are making about $20/hr here, minimum 2 hours a work day. So the folks who can't deal with some exposed nipple can pay me $40 a listing, and we're square. No more complaints from me.

isn't etsy 18+?

if you're over 18, and you can't "handle" a boob or crotch shot, something is SERIOUSLY wrong and you need professional help.

Don't worry about buying art, worry about GROWING UP, and FAST!

Besides, don't they make fancy software to "protect" kids anyway?

If a boob, is a boob, is a boob, wouldn't this "protection software" catch it and "protect" said child?
