Original Post

Now that I know that Dillinger is indeed legit (sorry man, with all the crap going on with sockpuppets I wanted to be absolutely sure you were for real *waves*), I would like to know why I am being asked to change the pictures and tags/description in my listings prior to changes are to take effect? Not to mention that the next version (or final version) of the constitution hasn't even been revealed yet.

How/why am I to comply with something that isn't even law yet? This seems rather premature.

It seems to me that this conversation answers the question about whether or not the pictures are going to be censored (I won't even get into how much that really picks my butt).

You are not the only Etsian being asked to do this.

enforcing the rules before we have even seen the final version of the rules is Kafkaesque.

I wouldn't change a thing until you see the new rules, and wait until you're sure they'll stick.

I didn't think I was :) I know that others are being asked to do the same. Doesn't change my question ;)

Yep, doesn't make sense that they are enforcing it now. Wait till 4/1 I say, and, if needed, wait a day or two more just to be sure.

I look at this as Etsy administrators giving fair warning of what is ahead for sellers of nudes.

I wonder if the Etsians who are being asked to change their pics are all photographers.

I list original drawings and paintings of nudes, but have few listed due to the upcoming Constitution.

Hell, grandpa might not even need his viagra after viewing those.lol

Sorry guys, I know this is a serious issue for you, and I'm not trying to make light of it. I guess the ridiculousness of this whole constitutional thing has just made me a little slap happy.
