Can anyone tell me what they know about Atlanta and the surrounding suburbs?

I can tell you to avoid rush hour traffic ;)... which suburbs are you moving to?
I'm right outside of Athens... welcome to Georgia! =)

Well, I'm thinking of Fayetteville, Riverdale, College Park, Lithonia, or Stone Mountain. Whew! Any ideas on either of these cities?

Stone Mtn is a nice area... I don't know a whole alot about the others but if I were moving to Atlanta I think I would look into Atlantic Station although it's not the suburbs..it's in the city limits but it's a neat place =)

You should join the GA street team... I know a few sellers on it that are in the Atlanta suburbs.. they would know more than me.. I'm more of the country mouse ;)

I've never heard of Atlantic station. What's it like? Is there a lot of crime there? Just wondering.

I won't be moving until next June, but I know I have to get going on planning a move. I think I will contact the GA street team too.

I don't know a ton about Atlanta, but my father has lived in the area for a long time. He only likes to pick places that are good for the kids to be. He's lived in Snellville, Loganville, and now just moved to Cumming, GA. Snellville is near Stone Mountain. I lived there for a while when I was a kid. Seemed nice to me then. :) Loganville is a pretty area.

Not sure if that helps.

I live in Fayetteville and love it. If you've got questions or need more info, feel free to convo me. I'm also pretty familiar with most of the area south of Atlanta.
