Maybe it is the era I grew up in, I am kind of miffed some women don't shave their pits.

Is there some reason you don't shave your underarms??

Maybe it is just me, I find shaving is a part of regular grooming

I rarely shave.

1. My hair is fine and blonde, and grows very slowly.
2. I wear shirts with sleeves and long pants
3. It's such a hassle, why should I have to shave all the time?

I shave when I show my legs or pits.
My boyfriend calls me Jungle Pits.

I feel self conscious if I don't shave...

There is a girl I have a few classes with that doesn't shave anything. And she has a generous amount of long conspicuous hairs on her chin she should really pay attention to. She's pretty cool but she makes me cringe.

Though if it's winter and nobody is going to see my legs or armpits... why bother doing it often? heh.

i shave...i just don't like hair on me-it doesn't bother me on others...i find hairy pits on women attractive (not to be confused with sexy) but in the same way that i find natural haircolor and cosmetic free faces...

No. It's stinky.

And my hair is really dark, noticable one day after I shave. It's annoying.

If i don't do it regularly, I get very itchy in the pit-al area. and i seem to require more deodorant. don't know if that's normal or not...

I shave, but honestly I don't need to. Seriously, one of my armpits could go for months and you wouldn't be able to tell that I didn't shave it. The other has MAYBE 10 hairs that need to be shaved. I find it quite humorous that I have little to nil underarm hair.

it's only stinky if you don't shower!

sheesh. frankly, the north american obsession with female hair removal makes me kind of miffed.

if it were dirty or unnatural or unfeminine, we wouldn't almost all have it!

that's not to say that just because i'm aware of the ridiculousness of our ideological conception of what "femininity" is supposed to look like, that i'm immune to it. if i know i'm going on a date, i'll shave. i'm thinking i should have stayed with the suitor who told me straight up that he thinks girls shaving off all their body hair is ludicrous. whyyyyy am i not still seeing that guy? :(
