Please post an item you have that you will donate 100% to Dawns Children I will start it please keep this thread going!!Help her Children! She was one of us. I will donate 100% from this sale
We have had a great response from the community and have built a list of wonderful gifts that have all been donated from the heart within our community, we would love nothing more than to keep this thread going to help Dawns Boys please donate or buy a little something for a treat for yourself,a gift for someone else or a cash donation to the boys pay pal address below ! anything!! every little helps and your help is greatly needed and appreciated! Dawn made jewelry and lampwork beads (I am lucky to have some of her beads). I remember her most for her trials during Hurricane Katrina. Dawn and her boys lived in Slidell, Louisiana and during the evacuation she kept all of us in an Ebay group posted on her whereabouts by stopping in libraries and getting on the Internet. She lost just about everything in the house. Basically, she drove around with her two boys and a dog and I don’t recall where she stayed while her home was being rebuilt. It was a few hours away from Slidell. I remember seeing pictures of the inside of the house with all the walls down to the studs. Dawn did a lot of the renovation herself and was so proud of it.
She was just getting back in the swing of managing her website, shows, Etsy Shop and Ebay Store, enough so that she was making a living with her beads and jewelry. It is such a shame to have lost a talented artist and I feel so badly for her sons and other family members.
