Hi there! This is Jessica from BuggaLove. The Etsy Baby Shower was started by June from FickleFaerie 3 years ago. This has since become an event which happens several times a year. Deniz from DecorativeLabels and I will be your hosts for this shower.
What is the Etsy Baby Shower?
The Etsy Baby Shower is an event in which a number of expecting and brand new Etsy mommies receive gifts from donating Etsy shops.
How Do I Participate?
DONATING SHOPS: Donating shops must be willing to donate a gift, free of charge (including shipping) to the mom they are assigned. In return, we will help to promote your shop through different venues and here on Etsy. In the past we have included any shop that makes baby items. You do not have to be a member of a team to donate a gift for this shower. Everyone is welcome!
If you want to participate, please convo BuggaLove with the following information:
1. Your name, Etsy shop name, and email address
2. How many moms would you like to donate to?
3. Do you have a gender preference for your gift(s)?
4. What country are you in?
5. Can you ship internationally?
Special Note: If you make jewelry, please only donate Nursing necklaces. It's not that we don't like jewelry, but many of the moms are jewelry makers.
MOMMIES: If you are/were due January 1, 2010 to April 30, 2010 you may be eligible to participate!
1. Contact BuggaLove via convo and provide your name, location, email address, baby's sex (if known), and due date or birth-date of your baby.
2. You must have purchased at least 5 items on Etsy
3. You may not have received gifts as a mom in the Fall 2009 Etsy Baby Shower
4. You must be willing to provide a photo of your gifts to us for our Flickr album. We may also ask that you spread the baby shower love through whatever other social media you might participate in currently.
There will be a limit of 30 moms for the Winter 2010 Baby Shower! Our goal is to provide each Mom with 4 gifts.

Many of these showers have had the continued support of the same shops each time and they should be applauded for their unending generosity. We are so excited to be hosting this event again and look forward to it being a great success!
