Let me try this again, seeing I was either too sandy eyed and really messed up, or etsy did something weird on me... either way, this does not belong in the CPSIA part of the forums!
Etsy, please delete the other one, thanks!
Here goes...
I want to do a blog post soon about packaging your items affordably but prettily. I do it, but I would like to have other examples besides my own as well.
If you have a good way of doing this, please leave a comment here with what you use and how you do it, and a link to a picture so my readers can SEE it. I will only do ones with pictures, sorry!
I'll go through these soon and pick 3 or 4 of my favorites.
If I choose you, I will credit you in the post, and link to your shop.
Thank you very much!

Hi, joyoustreasures, I don't have any consistently spectacular way, but that's one of my goals for this week: refine and upgrade my whole shipping process; why ship a pretty jewelry box in a 'normal' bunch of tissue and a brown cardboard box??
So, will your post your blog url so I can follow? Then, I can learn, too! :)

I order the 'free' postcards from Vistaprint and use them as my hair clip cards. I get 100 for a few bucks and then I ordered clear envelopes from an Etsy seller and slip them inside.

I like to buy my packaging supplies in bulk, that helps save money. I like papermart.com for my jewelry boxes and royalmailers.com for my bubble mailers.
I also got lucky a while back and did a trade with another seller for a big roll of pretty ribbon in exchange for some fabric I didn't want.

You can see an example of my packaging in the last photo of this listing.
I hope this helped!

I don't have pics of my items wrapped to ship though. I wrap them in pretty tissue and close with a custom sticker. :)

Sure, I'll play! :)

I buy rolls of recycled paper and then I cut, fold, and sew them shut to make my sock sleeves. My bands are printed on cotton paper and slipped around the socks. The banded socks then go inside the sleeves, I fold down the tops, and tie with leftover yarns. It's cheap, eco-friendly, functional, and I get lots of compliments on the presentation.

I don't have pictures yet, but I'll try to take some tomorrow and convo you with them! As far as packaging, what I like to do is fold the garment nicely, tie a pretty ribbon around it, and add a note and a business card tucker in the ribbon. I think it looks clean but cute at the same time! I buy polymailers in bulk, for about 22 cents a mailer, so that cuts down on costs as well (and the things weigh practically nothing, yet can hold a lot of fabric). Anyway, again I will try to take pics tomorrow!
