With the days of email and computers, the art of the letter seems to be a thing of the past. The mail man seems to only bring supplies, bills and random ads to places I don't frequent. Wouldn't it be great to get a letter in the mail describing another world or life that you can imagine in your head? Make a friendship blossom through our pens as opposed to our typewritten word.

I'm 30 years old, mother of 3 in Rockford, IL.
Looking for a penpal friendship and hoping others are too! Feel free for multiple posts and many people can be matched up!

One letter a month would be a great starting point!

I'm interested in a postcard swap if there are any etsy peeps interested! We did a etc handmade postcard before through swapbot which was great.

My wrist is still healing so writing and drawing are not my strong points right now. So i really am not in the best shape for making postcards or letters.

I can send out a note on one of my postcards i've bought from etsy sellers though :) spread the handmade lurve around hehe :)

I had been writing to one of my really good friends deployed to Afghanistan until he finished his deployment. I'm super happy he's home again, but I miss sending and receiving snail mail!
