I dont know who i would pick but i do know what i would expect of that person. Because if i were the mod i would shut down posts where discussions got to heated in debate and/or began to pick on or make fun of anyone and/or went on unnecessarily too long and offered no real helpful contributions to benefit anyone here. should be able to joke and keep an objective and level look on all threads and be able to keep cool at all times. Would be a great friend but more importantly be a good moderator because that is the whole point anyway.

That how i would be, so i guess thats what i expect of a moderator whether he or she is from etsy in some way or not.

I agree with those that say that it should be someone totally new. It'd be hard to not have any preconceived notions about certain people. Even if you try not to, subconsciously you are going to know that that person was a bitch to you that one time, and read something totally different than it was intended.
