crazy question, but you all understand where i am coming from...

has anyone done lampwork in an apartment?...any ideas that might work for me?...should i cover the walls with metal?...how about vinyl on top of the carpet...i really don't want to pack up my studio for a year...ugh...

however, i do have other crafts i can focus on and introduce in my shop...on the positive side, this could be a new expansion of my talents with other materials...

Eileen sure could use some ice to cool off from this intense summer heat! www.etsy.com/listing/32983924/ice-ice-blue-handmade-lampwork-focal I was always too scared of the risk of something bad happening to make beads in an apartment. I wouldn't recommend it really but perhaps a family member or really really good friend has a little space you could utilize? Also would love to hear what others have to say about this subject.

Holly could go for some ice cream right about now! It's torturous hot out in the desert! www.etsy.com/listing/12609137/pineapple-orange-swirl-i-scream-hollys

Some more orphans, reds! www.etsy.com/listing/50469917/lampwork-orphans-set-of-14-janel-dudley

Janel, I agree with you. It may not even be legal to do it in an apartment, from some things I've heard. If it's possible to find a garage or something that you can rent cheap, or, like Janel says, a friend with some spare space, that would be better.
Those are nice orphans, Janel, and wow are they inexpensive!

I've listed another fish- very orange, and a new seahorse.

hi everyone...omg...busy as work packing as well...we are moving our lab to the main hospital campus tomorrow...what a job...i feel like a purge, packing moving machine...i'll be blogging about it...

i feel the same as janel and glassbead...i don't think it's a smart idea...i'm hoping to use my friend's barn if there is a sufficient spot for me to torch but for now i will be storing my studio in the barn until i am fully settled...

here's a relist from me today...button up...

Eileen, I know Sarah Hornik does... but she's still using a hothead which falls under a different rule set then Oxy / gas mix. And she's in Isreal.

But I have an old torch bud who takes a hothead everywhere and torches in his hotel rooms!!!! LOL! He batch anneals at home!
