I'm not sure how many more cranes are needed but do a thousand is a lot, so any you could do I'm sure would be appreciated.

Perhaps you could check or contact someone on the site?

Sorry about your friend, 3DCranes. I know how those things can leave a lasting impression, forever. I've lost so many people whom I went to treatment with.

It breaks my heart.

Check out the updates on her blog.

Thanks, WallCandy. It was kind of scary because everyone thought he was getting better, then just suddenly was gone. I still think about him every once in a while, even though we weren't at all close by the time he passed away. I think a big part of it is that a lot of my memories "growing up" include him. And those memories still make me smile =)

I saw the blog earlier, but I didn't see anything about how many cranes they've collected so far. I was just curious, as I fold pretty fast so I can do a bunch, anyway.

Oh, and I'm sorry about the people you've lost, WallCandy, but it's wonderful that you're a survivor...

Thanks, 3D. I'm very grateful to be here but I also feel badly for those who aren't.

Maybe you could ask her to update the # on her blog?

I also did a blog post. Maybe others could do the same on their blogs?
