Need Promos? Have Promos?

when i started selling on etsy, i noticed the many requests for samples and promo material, and decided to make my own thread. the response has been great, from both sellers and potential buyers. as i've gotten more and more promos and seen more and more threads requesting them, i thought it might be a decent idea to expand what i was doing.

my goals are twofold: to act as a hub for receiving and distributing promos (offering a wider variety of new as well as more established shops than individual short-term promo requests generally recieve), and to make enticing sample packs available to buyers who are curious about etsy or who would like to find new shops.

*i do not intend to profit from these bags, i will only charge for shipping/packing, and will adjust prices to reflect those costs*
the first sample bag is listed in my shop, please feel free to suggest things to add to the description. single bags are $2, 5 bags will be $4, for shipping in the contintental u.s. more bags = better value, convo me for orders of more than 5, or if you live outside of the continental u.s, and i will be happy to calculate shipping for you.

PLEASE POST HERE AND CONVO ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SENDING BUSINESS CARDS, COUPONS, SAMPLES, OTHER PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS, DONATING HANDMADE BAGS, OR PURCHASING BAGS TO GIVE AWAY. this will help me ensure that i don't miss anyone, as well as keep this thread in view so more people can see it. the more people who participate, the more exciting the bags will be. the more interesting your samples are, the more likely they are to encourage someone to visit your shop.

i hope those of you who have seen my bags so far will post here about how truly cool and attention getting they are. :) being able to touch the samples is more effective than relying on pixels, and i've discovered a few new favorites that i would have otherwise passed over. this will also give us a chance to expose new buyers to the extra care and bits of happiness that come along with most etsy purchases, and get more people to fall in love with the etsy shopping experience. giving bags to friends, family, or strangers gives you a great opportunity to tell them about your store.
