Close Multiple Threads on the Same Subject

Etsy should lock multiple threads about the same subject.
The forum community is well aware of the wants of certain groups of sellers. Their blocking the forums with multiple threads about the same subject makes it more difficult for the rest of the community to voice their needs.
Ganging up to post multiple threads about the same subject and then constantly bumping them up above other subjects is a form of bullying against the community as a whole which is against Etsy's terms of use and therefore shouldn't be tolerated.

So I'm an Asshat. If it gets me a viable category, I can live with that label.
I was just joking around in my other posts on the types of threads that get recycled. I promise to add a disclaimer from now on.

Who called anyone an asshat?
I'm just having a civil conversation with myself, lol.

stamp & JuJuToo...The way you get the threads that interest you to stay on top, is to keep posting in them. No one is stopping you from doing that, you know. In fact, these posts from some of the DAMs is keeping this thread of yours at the top. Isn't that wonderfully kind of us???

Asshats are people who try to shut down threads they aren't even involved in. And it's no joke-- all of the other thread types that get used over and over and over, ad naseum, THOSE threads get to go on eternally until someone loses interest. Why shouldn't a genuinely interesting thread that has some kind of viable purpose get to go on as long as we are interested?
I didn't realize the Ideas section of the forums was a competition.

Well given that someone from Etsy commented on my thread on page 1, I know it's been seen by those it was aimed at. What happens to the thread now is of little interest to me.

I don't see it as bullying at all, just people trying to get heard which can be hard around here.
