This past Friday's vintage finds article in the Storque (tiny.cc/KmH75) begins like this:
"Bonnie and Clyde are rather infamous characters in U.S. history, and for good reason: honestly, what's sexier than a nefarious duo driving cross country on a crime spree of such massive and public proportion? Their exploits were legendary, their inevitable ends simultaneously tragic and oh-so-romantic."
I don't find murder particularly sexy, nor do I find dying in a hail of gunfire particularly romantic.
The fashions showcased are lovely, but the article is absolutely tasteless. you can do much better than that, etsy. I hope.

I second that emotion, and this ain't the only one. Maybe being trendy isn't so trendy anymore like so last year. But, they do prevail!

Ugh. I agree. I'd hate my my kids to read that. Some of the death/suicidal photography here makes me cringe, too.

Um, crime and sexiness have never really been connected in my mind. Maybe it's just me.

Glorifying sex and violence is something I thought I'd not see on the first page here.
You do know it wasn't just a movie, real people died.

It's really mindboggling, isn't it?
I posted this in the comments, but I'll post it here:
Who has the ultimate responsibility for items posted in the Storque? Who reads and okays all of them before they get published? That person may need to keep a tighter rein on things.
I'm just wondering who is held accountable at Etsy for the many missteps The Storque has made, lately. Is anyone accountable?
I don't want my shop associated with people who think murderers are sexy and crime is romantic.

"Their exploits were legendary, their inevitable ends simultaneously tragic and oh-so-romantic."
What is oh-so-romantic about dying in a hail of bullets while trying to escape law enforcement after murdering a number of people?
And by the way, that was NOT Bonnie Parker's look, but Faye Dunway's look - oh wait, but Faye D. is not romantic, she is just an actress that has not murdered anyone.
Must be a generation gap thing . . . .
*shakes head in disbelief*

Actually, there is some serial killer items listed on Etsy. We wouldn't want to insult other artists now, would we?
