What we can't talk about in the Business Forums

Original Post
We can talk about selling at craft shows & how to approach B&M businesses to sell our wares.
We can talk about Homemade Fuzion & Big Cartel & Mindt & Lollishops & Trunkt.
All of these are theorically 'competition' for Etsy as a venue. Though really it seems like if Etsy was really created to help artists build businesses & live off their creations, they would understand diversifying is part of that.
Anyway....my questions is:
Why can't we talk about DaWanda? More often then not, DaWanda threads get moved to Promos or ETC. What's the difference?
I never see threads about Trunkt or Lollishops moved. I'd just like to know what the rules are. If we aren't suppose to talk about other venues (which seems like a logical & valid business topic for the business forums but I guess that's not the point) then I would like to see all the threads about other venues stopped.
All or none. You know?

Coming from that other site where the slightest mention of another rival site can have you shot at dawn, I find Etsy to be very good about the open discussions of other selling and marketing sites.

I don't think admin answers questions unless it is between 9 and 5 in NYC :(

Trunkt is a selling site. The entire point of the site is to offer a portfolio of your work to wholesalers.

I had a thread going just the other day. No links at all, through the entire thing. It's in promos now.
