I go natural for cleaning products. Vinegar, baking soda and citrus juices can clean, polish and degrease just as good as most harsh chemicals

Here's an eco tip I contributed to the EcoEtsy blog, about how to make planters out of toilet paper tubes:

They're great for starting your herbs in. If you buy fresh herbs in the store, they're often wrapped in plastic and travel several hundred miles to get to the store (if you live in MN like I do, anyway) so it's healthier for the environment to grow your own. They're super tasty, and easy!
