As part of our ongoing project to widen the site, we will soon be updating the search results on Etsy to the new, wider template. This comes on the heels of the widened home page.

As with the new home page, the new search results will feature larger gallery images, as well as a cleaner, simpler look. Under the hood, we're continuing to make changes that will make the site easier to maintain and more accessible, as well as preparing for international versions of the site down the road.

Look for more pages to be updated to the new wider design this summer.

The new search results pages are beginning to roll out now. Only a small percentage of users will see them to begin with, as we are moving carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to post in this forum thread:

Hi all,

The new wider search results pages will be rolled out to everyone later today.

During our testing, the new wider search results design performed better than the narrow version in terms of conversion, search depth, bounce rate and other key metrics. This new design features 40 items per page instead of 33. We will contain to test additional versions with even more items per page and other enhancements.
