What is b.scorecardresearch.com? Whatever it is, it often hangs Etsy up so badly that it takes 30-60 seconds for pages to load and for the icon in the toolbar to stop flashing.

Never heard of it. I tried to go there but all I got was an " access denied" & my computer wouldn't let me open it. I'll bump this up though & maybe someone else can answer your question.

it is spyware you need to download something like spybot to remove it.

No, it's not spyware. McAfee says it's fine and safe. It's something Etsy has embedded, and it's a pain in the arse because it hangs things up. I googled it, and it seems to cause this problem with lots of websites. Watch the toolbar at the bottom of your window and you will see it loading whenever you click on a link or item within Etsy. Sometimes it zooms by quickly, other times it hangs on for a long time. Very annoying.
Here is a snippet from google:
ScorecardResearch is a website that is used to help with the collection of Internet web browsing data on specific websites that have enrolled in a broad market research effort by comScore, Inc. to create reports on Internet behavior and trends.

I'm bringing this back up because I would really like to hear what admin says about it. b.scorecardresearch.com is embedded into Etsy, and it is slowing everything down like crazy. Can and will this be fixed?

I don't know if this makes sense, but I blocked its cookies and my page loading seems to run much faster. Any techie out there who can comment?

Seems it's okay, but invasive. Not malware, but nor does it let you opt out. You're right, I saw it appear very quickly on my Etsy pages loading too. Personally my Etsy only lags when it's trying to connect with Google analytics.
