Don't know if this is the correct forum but I feel like lately I've been seeing a lot of etsy shops that selling on here like it's ebay. Just a bunch of stuff they don't want. Not handmade, vintage or supply. I know there is a "report" button but I don't know...is it worth it? I feel like a jerk but also feel that Etsy has been crammed with a bunch of junk and it waters down the real Etsians who are selling truly handmade and truly vintage items. What do you guys think?

I've noticed this too. I wonder if people realize what type of items are supposed to be on Etsy or if they care, or if Etsy cares?

Yes, I agree it makes the site look terrible. I report it when I come across it, but I don't go looking for it because it's depressing there's so much of it.
You're definitely not a jerk for reporting it. It needs to get removed.

Hi rissa. What kind of stuff? And if it's handmade or true vintage, I guess that's all good. If not, yes, I would report.

yeah the other day I saw stuff like from the supermarket... like someone's pantry was too full and they just snapped a picture of it... incredible!

seriously, I wonder too. I want to report this one site but I feel like Etsy won't do anything about it. I just don't think it's fair to the people here who are following the etsy "rules".

Well I found one who is selling regular jewelry (like, walmart kind or something) not vintage at all and things like that...
