I was quite sad to delete my treasury lists, but my shop is part of my business, & my business here is promoting Magic Jelly, not other people's shops.

Those thumbnail links don't even open in a new tab, so visitors are whisked off to other sellers' shops.

At the very least, please make the modules of the profile customisable, so if I don't want to display other people's products on my profile, I don't have to.

I'm a sociable person & like to help out my fellow artists when I can, but there's a time & a place, & my shop is the place where I focus on running a sustainable business, not a place to make friends.

Yeah, I looked at my profile page and was just kind of like "WTF?" it's supposed to be about me, not about stuff that other people sell.

oh dear.
I just made my favourites private for the first time ever.

I like the new profiles page and am happy that my treasuries are being seen. I am OK if someone clicks on a treasury and goes elsewhere. They will come back if they are serious about buying from me. Also, new buyers may come to my shop from clicking on someone else's treasury list. I love the mini gallery of my jewelry to the right of my bio.

i agree with lizhutnick...
it's giving and taking. sometimes you'll "lose" a visitor but other times you're getting new ones just because one of your items is viewed on someone elses profile. i think it's good to improve the network.

i forgot to say that profile pages, at least to me, weren't anything i would click on or look at very often... this might change now :)

The focus of the profile page should be about the shop owner.

Where's the blog integration?

Where are the fields for links to my twitter & facebook?

Where is the photo gallery where I can show off my workspace, process & projects?

Where is the section for a CV, artist's statement or press appearances?

Instead, a visitor unfamiliar with Etsy, who doesn't know what a Treasury is, will wonder what's going on & will be unclear about what products are from my shop.

And because the avatar now links to the profile, a lot more traffic will be directed there.

I'm getting baffled by what kinds of use cases Etsy's running for their new rollouts.

The goal of a profile page is to find out more about the artist? - I find the favorites on this page baffling. (Yup, using baffling a lot :)

Magic I think you basically summarised my thoughts on the new profile page. Those are the logical items I expect on a profile page.

So what was Etsy's secondary goal for the profile page? Following Sean11's comments I interpreted it to be about cross-linking which makes me think about the social platform trend. But I still fail to see a strong correlation between things I like and social. So still baffled.

I just made my feedback private becasue I want to be one step ahead of the next crazy change.

I'm very upset that shop's profiles are getting chopped. One shop that I need to get info from each time I purchase has been blown to bits.
