All I have to do is start browsing around etsy and I go running to my sewing room to create.

I am greatly inspired by nature, little bits and pieces that others would think are trash, things that I can add character to, texture, people, old furniture and hardware, and my kids.

Oh sure. My brain never shuts off. It's not a great thing. I like to think I see everything a bit off than most and like to try and twist them if I can to my way of looking at things too. Everyone gets so wrapped up in the bigger, better, badder. When what was was pretty great.

Lots of things inspire me but also I create mostly at night. I sit down and look over all my beads. If I don't get inspired then I do nothing. But when I do get inspired I can't stop!

Well without those little sparks of inspiration I would have no reason to create. I love browsing isles full of fabrics, seeing the simplicity and beauty of nature in such a crazy busy world, and talking/listening to people.
In fact I am a bit inspired to get off the forums for a bit and keep creating just from this post. Thanks :)

I just set up an art room! Having a place to go that I can spread everything out on a huge table....definitely inspires me. I see all the pieces and start envisioning different ideas. I have gotten so much more creative by having an art room!

i get my inspiration from the mind of a child- i love the way that anything is possible in their eyes.
I am also heavily influenced by mother nature - she always gets it right, closest thing to perfection IMHO
Other random things could be a song, a phrase etc

My source of inspiration is yarn itself. When I touch it I immediately see the what can be knitted from it. I mean I see the knitted piece with all its detail and I know what other yarn or notions or decorations I need to make that piece.
And color, that's another source of inspiration for me.
By the way, what I've said about yarn goes for fabric also.
It's plain dangerous for me to be in yarn or fabric store.
