Hi friends,

We're in the process of rebuilding the Showcase here at Etsy. As part of this project, we're pruning the existing Showcase.

As of today, we are no longer selling spots in the Main Showcase, or the Storque Showcase. The Category Showcases and the weekly themed Holiday Showcases will remain as they are.

Why are we doing this? There are two main reasons. First, we're moving away from Flash for core site features, and these Showcases are in Flash. Second, targeted advertising performs better, and these two Showcases are untargeted.

We're hard at work building a better advertising platform for Etsy, and will share more details in the new year.
