Is Etsy a "private site" or not? Or just when it suits them.

Etsy admin says that they can make the rules, even if we don't like them, because Etsy is a company, not a publicly owned forum.
So Etsy, how about enforcing the rules more evenly? Shouldn't *all* Etsy users not deliberately provoke and offend?
Things that would be flagged in a heartbeat if they were in the forum are being tolerated in a shop, including profanity in the shop name.
This is wrong.

By posting this, you're breaking the rules you want Etsy to enforce.
Having said that, while I don't agree with the taste level or the offensiveness of the shop, I don't have any issues with them selling here so long as they're following the rules.

Etsy is a private company. So yes they make the TOU's and enforce them how they like.
I don't always agree with the decisions made, but they're within their rights.

As long as a shop warns "mature content" what's the big deal....if someone doesn't like it they have the option to not visit that shop.....live and let live

Unless the person sells coral, Etsy doesn't care. They have priorities you know.
