Very happy about the policy changes!!!
"Our policies have prohibited disparaging or promoting hate against people based on race or religion for quite a long time. But they never covered gender, people with disabilities, or sexual orientation. We are changing that — and a few other policies — effective now."
I have been out of the forum loop and don't know if this has been a hammered issue...
I just really would like to say Bravo to Etsy for stepping up in this area. I really believe this promotes a healthy community and I am proud to be a part.

I am sure there are many differing opinions on the matter. I don't mind having my own opinion though. I don't see any reason that Etsy should need to tolerate the type of hate bashing that was going one though, I had a nice look through some of those shops and it really was over the line in my opinion. Some places in life cater to that, I am just glad that Etsy chose not too is all.

There is no reason this thread should be locked since it is just opinions. I too agree that there is no room for hatred in this world. Good job Etsy for recognizing that.
