Hi Folks! Well, I'm gonna try to get some conversation going today about QCE and hopefully Etsy is OK with this - ummmmmmmm, do you see their store on Etsy? I don't - so this is not a "call-out."
So, is anyone going to the store today?

My guess is they won't even open. I'd love to be there to see tho!

I wonder if they're long gone... But the landlord should have access to the store and maybe people can get their items back that way. Pretty dumb of them to accept consignment from local artists.

azek, over 60 Etsy shops sent items to QCE in hopes of selling at their consignment store. They were scammed and the Etsy designers/artists didn't get paid (that is the norm) and did not get their items back when requested. The Missouri Attorney General's Office is investigating them. This has affected alot of us here.

Has anyone on the list actually called the police in Springfield?

From what I've read, the police have been telling people it's more of a civil matter. I also read you have to file a report in person. I'm in Chicago and not going to drive to MO to do this. I'm only out a few $100 bucks. Some sellers are out over $1,000, though :(
