Materials: matte frame, archival epson paper and inks

Built in 1929, the lovely USCG LV115 once served as a lightship on the Frying Pan Shoals in North Carolina, from 1930 to 1965. Her crew of 15 lived aboard for 3 months at a time, with 2 months leave.

After her service, she was docked and abandoned in the Chesapeake Bay, sank, spent a few years underwater until her present owners bought her. They removed tons of silt and sea life, installed a motor, and sailed her to NYC where she is today, at Pier 66, as part of the restaurant/bar there.

This matted print is of my original pen & ink and watercolor drawing; it is printed on archival, premium matte paper and with non-fading Epson inks.
